Can I follow your tutorial using NT4 or NT2000?

Yes, in fact it is much easier to install Oracle components in a NT environment.   There are lots of steps that you don’t need to do, such as starting and stopping the listener or starting and stopping the database.  NT does all of these automatically for you.   If you have any problems installing, don’t forget to go to our “Oracle FAQ” link.  If you use NT4, don’t forget to apply service pack (SP6a) before Oracle installation.

What is the difference between the Oracle Developer 9i and 6i versions?

It is very confusing. The Oracle9iDS (Internet Developer Suite) includes both Reports and Forms for the Client and Server. The Forms and Reports Clients are the same as the Oracle Developer 6i version. Those that want to learn how to develop an application using the Oracle Forms and Reports; need to install only the Client part. Don’t install the Oracle Server component into your machine. Also, Oracle has another product called the Oracle9iAS (Internet Application Server). Don’t use that because it contains only the Reports and Forms Server part.

Is this the appropriate vehicle for preparation for OCP Developer?

Our tutorial is not for passing the Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) exam. It is real practical work exercises. It provides practical experience through the use of realistic ORACLE Hands-On exercises. You should note that you will not be able to learn Oracle effectively, nor will you be able to pass OCP exams unless you practice the skills that the courseware presents. Our Hands-On is the best resource that not only help you to understand the fundamentals of the OCP exam questions but also add a real work experience to your resume.

What is your time estimate in approximate man hours to properly complete the course and do all of the exercises, case studies, etc?

It depends on your background. You should at least allocate 3 to 6 months. There are lots of information on our CDs and you should practice and learn them, not just watch them like movies. Some of those 10 to 15 minute movies are products of months of reading and finding.

Would you consider $$$ for the set?

Each month, the founder of this organization allocates some money to donate to those unfortunate individuals who are not able to purchase our products.  These individuals include those who have been laid off, have no job, or have financial difficulties.  If you fall in any of these categories then you may fill out iSelfSchooling Financial Aid Application and email it to us.  After we consider your application then you will be informed.

Yes, I have already arranged to pay my payment by using

I teach ORACLE developer.  Can I play the movie at my class room?

Yes, we see no problem with that.

What is the best resolution to play the movie?

The higher resolution and colors you have the better movie you have.  You should at least have 600x800 pixels and 256 colors.  The better sound card will provide you with better background music.

Does your product work under Win98?

Yes, it does.  Our product works under Win95, 98, SE, ME, NT and NT2000 environments.

ME installation problem:

Notice that although our products work under ME, you should know that if you buy Oracle8i or Oracle9i from Oracle Corp. to install on ME, these Oracle products are not certified on ME and you may not be able to install them on your machine successfully in order to follow the Hands-On exercises.
