-         Application-specific administrator

The following is a list of the default users created in OID during the OracleAS Infrastructure installation.

-         OID Super user

-         Guest user

-         Proxy user

-         Default identity management realm super user

The following is a list of the objects of an identity management realm

-         Root Oracle Context

-         Identity management realm

-         Identity management Realm-Specific Oracle Context

The following is a list of the difference between hosted and nonghosted directory deployments

-         A hosted environment is one where an enterprise makes various Oracle components available to other enterprises and stores information for them.

-         A nonhosted environment is one where a single enterprise installs OID to support different Oracle components for its own use.

To view the common entries of the default identity management realm, log in to ODM as orcladmin. Then expand the “Entry management” node and navigate to the entry cn=Common. You can view different attributes of the identity management realm. In this window, the right pane will display the attributes that define the DN of the entries under which all the users or group in that identity management realm are created. Browse through and see how easy is to maintain an entries.
