Responsibilities:
-Work closely with other engineering team members and interacting
with Product, Architecture, QA and many other groups to lead and
deliver world class engineering products in an exciting fast-paced
environment
-Partner with the Product Management group to identify business
requirements and design product specifications
-Create high-level and detailed technical design documents, and
conduct design reviews
-Play an active role in implementing and providing feedback on new
processes
-Implement new product features using C++ and SQL in an Apache/Linux
environment
-Enhance and maintain existing product capabilities
-Develop and update product documentation
-Participate and become actively involved in team and company wide
architecture discussions
-Employ technical expertise in helping team members overcome
technical problems
-Adhere to release/project schedule and milestones
-Familiarity with Rational ClearCase & ClearQuest tools
preferred
Job Requirements:
-C++
-Unix
-XML
-SQL
-Oracle
-Unix Shell Scripting
-Strong verbal and written communication skills due to the dynamic
nature of discussions with other engineering team members
Desired Skills:
* Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
* Experience managing large BLOB/CLOB data objects
**Job requires on call
hours evenings and weekends and generally requires more than 40
hours per week.**

Daily work assignments
shall be coordinated with and status reported to the private company
project manager.
Hours:
The basic work hours
shall be as stated in the Contract, however, special assignments may
require periodic adjustments to accommodate the schedules of the
clients. This may include early morning, late evening and some
weekend work.
